The key to operationalising the Humanitarian– Development–Peace (HDP) nexus, preventing crisis and building peace from the bottom-up is to understand local conflict dynamics and peace visions. Donors and UN agencies must support analyses at the sub-national level, adapt analytical tools to identify local peace visions, and mandate funding models that ensure the equitable participation of local organisation
