Abstract

On behalf of the Research and Documentation Division of the German Bundestag, BICC conducted research on the following topics: • Effects and consequences of international/inter-state agreements and contracts on arms exports, or international arms cooperation and collaboration regarding German arms export practices and policies as well as on the validity of arms export guidelines. • Approaches towards the implementation and improvement of a restrictive European arms exports policy in the framework of and beyond existing agreements and an evaluation of possible influence of indivicual countries.
