Biography

Toni is a Web & Database Programmer with a background in Cultural Anthropology — a combination that brings both code and culture to the table. At BICC, she develops and maintains web and database infrastructure for research projects — from full-stack applications to complex data and geospatial integrations. Her focus is on creating reliable, well-structured systems that make research results easier to access and understand. Having conducted fieldwork in countries like Peru, Vietnam, and Japan, Toni brings a global and people-centred perspective to her technical work. She enjoys building clear, visually engaging tools that let researchers focus on their questions rather than their software.
