Kelly Achenbach

Biography

Kelly leads bicc’s communications strategy and implementation. She ensures bicc publications and events are visible to key stakeholders by coordinating the content and design for the website, social media channels and newsletters. Before joining bicc, Kelly managed the communications for several international research projects. In her early career, she coordinated programs for nonprofit organisations dedicated to social justice for youth from difficult backgrounds. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from California State University, Sacramento and studied Applied Linguistics at the University of Bonn. She loves exploring new ideas and places through reading, traveling, meeting new people and by giving speeches at the local public speaking club.
