Andra Schmidt

Biography

Having successfully completed her BA studies in Multilingual Communications at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne, Andra Schmidt is doing a MA degree in North American Studies at the University of Bonn. Her fields of research cover the political situation in North American countries, especially in the United States and Canada. Another angle of her studies is social media training and media literacy in developing countries. Andra Schmidt has already gained journalistic experience in various media companies such as the Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR), Sport-Informations-Dienst (SID) in Cologne. As a pupil, she also acted as a co-host for the LORA civic program of Radio Bonn-Rhein-Sieg.
