Research for the BMZ in select areas at the nexus between development and security

The "Early Warning - Early Action" project, which was conducted on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), set itself two tasks. On the one hand, it was to identify various development policy instruments for the early prevention of crises. On the other, it set out to conduct an overview of the practice in other OECD countries to provide comparisons and examples.
