Project overview

In 2010, BICC carried out a study on “Migration—Integration—Development. African migrant organizations in North Rhine-Westphalia” on behalf of the Stiftung Umwelt und Entwicklung Nordrhein-Westfalen (SUE), the government of the Land of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). BICC-brief 44 (in German) helps to provide an insight into the organizational forms and purposes of African migrant organizations, their potential in the fields of development and integration, as well as the conditions for the development of such potential.
